5.6/10

My stay at this boutique hotel had its ups and downs. While the location was quite central with easy access to the subway, and the decor was stylish, I was disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the room and the lack of basic amenities. The service was somewhat lacking, and despite paying a decent price, I didn’t feel I got good value for my money due to the issues I encountered.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was quite small and unfortunately not very clean. There were dirty socks and an unemptied trash bin, which was really off-putting. I’d rate the room around a 4 out of 10 due to its size and the cleanliness issues.
Service
5.0
The service felt limited as there were no staff available to assist; most interactions were handled through an app. I had to wait outside during check-in, which was inconvenient. I'd give the service a 5 out of 10.
Location
8.0
The location was a major plus, just across the street from the metro station and close to plenty of shops and eateries, making it very convenient for exploring. I’d rate the location an 8 out of 10.
Dining
Facilities
5.0
The facility itself was stylish but lacked essential amenities, like storage in the room. Given the lack of proper facilities, I would rate this area a 5 out of 10 as well.

7.4/10

My stay at The Toronto Wellesley Sonder was pretty good, especially considering the location right by the subway and plenty of nearby restaurants. The rooms were decent and clean, although some improvements could be made regarding heating and TV functionality. It's a great spot for solo business travelers, but families or couples might find it a bit cramped. Overall, a solid choice for the price if you're looking for convenience.

The room I stayed in was decent but could use better heating control and a working TV. It was clean, which is always a plus.
Service
6.0
The service was okay; I appreciated the staff's warm welcome but could've used more assistance with some amenities.
Location
9.0
The location is fantastic, just steps away from the subway and surrounded by great dining options.

5.0/10

My stay at the hotel was quite disappointing due to several issues. The building access was a major hassle that left me stranded, and customer service was unhelpful. The room itself was extremely small and lacked basic amenities, which made my experience feel more like a bad hostel than a boutique hotel. While the bathroom was decent and clean, the overall value for the price paid was not justified.

Rooms
5.0
The room was extremely small, more like a closet than a typical hotel space, with very limited storage and uncomfortable TV placement.
Service
5.0
The service was lacking, especially during check-in. It took over an hour to access my room with no one answering the phone for assistance.
Location
7.0
The location was somewhat convenient but the experience was overshadowed by the service issues I faced.
Dining
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were inadequate; there was no Wi-Fi during my stay, and the trash in my room was never emptied.

5.0/10

I had mixed feelings about my stay at this hotel. The location was convenient, close to the subway, which made getting around easy. However, the cleanliness and overall condition of the room left a lot to be desired. It felt more like a bed and breakfast with no breakfast included, and the lack of staff made check-in quite stressful. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it based on my experience.

Rooms
5.0
The room was small and located in the basement with only one small window. Despite being clean, it lacked basic furniture like a chair or table, making it less comfortable.
Service
5.0
I was frustrated with the service. The lack of staff made check-in difficult, and when I needed assistance, no one was available. The automated entry system was unreliable at times.
Location
8.0
The location was quite good, directly across from the subway and within walking distance to many attractions. I felt safe in the area.
Dining
5.0
There were no dining options available, making it feel more like a bed and breakfast without breakfast. I expected some basic amenities.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were minimal with essentially no common areas or amenities beyond the room itself. Wi-Fi was spotty too, which was disappointing.

7.0/10

I found this hotel to be a blend of great location and clean accommodations, but it has its drawbacks. The self-check-in process was efficient, and communication through the app worked well, but I was disappointed by the room's storage options and some noise issues. Overall, it offers good value for money if you're looking for something unique and modern, but it's not without its quirks.

Rooms
6.0
The room was cozy but quite small, with a big bed and minimal furniture. It lacked sufficient storage space, which made it hard to unpack fully.
Service
7.0
The communication with the staff via the app was responsive and helpful, but there were limited services available on-site, which could be an issue for some travelers.
Location
9.0
The hotel is conveniently located near a subway station, making it easy to explore the city. I appreciated the array of nearby restaurants and bars.
Dining
Facilities
6.0
While there were some useful amenities, like luggage storage and a small courtyard, I felt more basic facilities could have enhanced the stay.
